Lisa Justine Pimpinella, aged 57, a lifelong resident of Greenwich passed away suddenly on Friday December 18, 2020 at her home.
She was born at Greenwich Hospital on January 20, 1963, to the late Stefano Pimpinella and Geraldine (Pastore) Pimpinella.
She attended Greenwich public schools, graduating from Greenwich High School with the class of 1981. She was a personal assistant for 30 plus years, first for a local entrepreneur, then for two prominent surgeons in Stamford. Lisa had a wonderful personality, loved to laugh and was the life of any party she attended.
She is survived by her two sisters, Maria Pimpinella and Stephanie Acevedo (Joe). Also surviving her is her 102-year-old maternal grandmother Marion Pastore, her uncle Anthony Pastore (Maureen), cousins Jessica Reynolds (Marc, Piper and Augustus), Rebecca Lindemeyer (David), and David Pastore as well as her long-time love, Leroy “Mackey” Richards. She was predeceased by her grandfather Anthony Pastore Sr. and aunt Patricia Pastore Stickel.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 16 at St. Roch Church in Greenwich. There are no calling hours, interment is private. Contributions in memory of Lisa may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
