Etalo “Tony” Ceci, 78, Founded Exclusive Bridal Shoppe

Screen Shot 2016-06-08 at 2.12.05 PMEtalo “Tony” R. Ceci of Cos Cob passed on June 6, 2016 with his loving family at his side. He was born in Cos Cob on October 7, 1937 to Giuseppe and Angelina Ceci. Etalo attended Cos Cob Elementary School and graduated from Greenwich High School in 1957.
He had a passion for fashion design and attended Parsons on a part time basis while working to attain his dream. Etalo started his bridal shop 55 years ago in Cos Cob. The shop was a huge success and he bought his own building where he continued to build his empire along with his brother Jack Ceci.
After 55 years his legacy still lives on through his brother Jack at the Exclusive Bridal Shoppe. He also had a green thumb, and loved to cook as well as a passion for music. He was a church cantor for 15 years at St. Roch’s in Greenwich, and 10 years at Holy Rosary in Port Chester. He had an infinite love for his family and old time traditions.
Etalo was an extremely accomplished man. He touched many lives and never turned his back on anyone. He always gave a helping hand with an open heart. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by siblings Jack Ceci, Rose Ceci Fiorito, Aurora Cantella, Enis Kulik, Margaret Colabella (husband Anthony) and Stephanie Moreira (husband Max).
To honor his life friends may call on Thursday and Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 134 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 at St Catherine of Siena followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
