Dorothy Ann Macintyre (Maffucci), a life-long resident of Greenwich, passed away peacefully the morning of Saturday, May 20, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of, and predeceased, by her husband of 69 years, Donald Macintyre. She was the daughter of and predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Maffucci, and Sister Gloria Maffucci.
A graduate of Greenwich High School, she spent her professional career as a Secretary for Fawcett Publications, until giving birth to her Son Robert in 1963, after which she devoted her life to being a devoted housewife and mother, to which she excelled (She’d put “Mr. Clean” to shame – sorry Mom couldn’t resist). Rest assured, the pearly gates will shine even brighter now.
In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by an infant grandson, Matthew James Macintyre.
She is survived by her son Robert Macintyre, daughter-in-law, Marie, and a second Grandson, Steven.
In rememberance and celebration of her life, family and friends will gather Tuesday, May 23 from 9:00am – 11:00am at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich, followed by a small prayer service and internment at St. Marys’ Cemetery.
