Anthony DeVita, 96

Anthony DeVita, of Greenwich, passed away November 20, 2024, at age 96.

He was born in Rose, Cosenza, Italy on February 10, 1928, to Eugenio and Angelina DeVita.

Anthony was a talented craftsman and enjoyed a career for many years as a builder and contractor.

Anthony was most proud of his fig tree and would tend to it often, along with the flowers in his garden.

He is fondly remembered for his delicious biscotti and homemade wine. He would enjoy trips to Island Beach in the summer and long walks to the pavilion to enjoy the time with family and friends.

Anthony is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Millie DeVita. He is the loving father of Eugene DeVita (Laura), Anthony DeVita (Patricia) and David DeVita (Connie) and cherished grandfather of, Stephanie, Anthony Michael, Nicole, Danielle, Kane, Ryan and Toni, and devoted great grandfather of Colton. He is the dear brother of Ennio DeVita and the late Carmine and Joe DeVita.

Family and friends may gather on Monday from 9:00-10:40am at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue Greenwich. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
