Alta Jane Morabito (née Enright), of Scarsdale, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx following a brave fight against cancer. She was 72.
Born in Greenwich to Louis and Helen Enright, she was tenth of their eleven children.
She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Grammar School and St. Mary’s High School. One of her fondest memories was spending summers at Camp Nathan Hale in Coventry, CT.
Mrs. Morabito worked for several years at Fawcett Publications in Greenwich, and she was later employed as an office manager and purchaser for Plastic Tool Systems in Milford, CT.
More recently, she lived near her grandchildren in Scarsdale, NY and spent time with them often.
She is predeceased by her former husband and devoted friend Louis. She is survived by her beloved daughters Carol Morabito and Mary Rosewater, her devoted son-in-law David Rosewater, and her cherished grandchildren Jacob and Toby Rosewater.
She is also survived by her loving siblings Carl, John, Joseph, and Sandra Harriott, and her dear friend, Doreen Daum.
To honor her life, family and friends will gather on Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00pm at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich (203) 869-5968.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00am at St. Roch Church, 10 St. Roch Ave., Greenwich. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Hospital.
