RTM District 9, which includes Glenville, Pemberwick, Bailiwick, West Lyon Farm and the areas in between, has an opening for another member. According to Betsy Frumin, candidates will be interviewed and a new member will be voted in on Thursday September 15 at 7:30 pm at the Western Greenwich Civic Center.
The RTM is the legislative body of the town. It approves expenditures, reviews the town budget and can reduce or eliminate items. It can initiate ordinances and reviews and votes on all ordinances. It approves or rejects nominations to town boards among other duties.

Also, per Alexis Voulgaris, in addition to district 9, the RTM currently has vacancies in Districts 3, 4, 7 and 10 and 12.
