Horseneck Chapter of the DAR Commemorates Anniversary of the Signing of the Constitution

The Horseneck Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a ceremony to commemorate the 235th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution in 1787.

This event was held at Town Hall on Saturday, September 17th.

And to honor this very important day in our history, First Selectman Fred Camillo issued a proclamation from the Town of Greenwich.

Joining the DAR members were Selectwomen, Lauren Rabin and Janet Stone McGuigan, State Representative Kimberly Fiorello, State Senator Ryan Fazio, Town Clerk Jackie Budkins, and David Wold from the Byram Veterans Association.

Flags and copies of the Constitution were provided by the Horseneck DAR Chapter Members, Jenny Larkin, Justine Cuff, Nan Levy, Wendy Dunkle Dziurzynski and Wynn McDaniel.

The group welcomes new members who are interested in history and serving the Town in various community projects.

“We are a fun group and have the resources to help you find your patriot,” said Wynn McDaniel.
