Greenwich’s Household Hazardous Waste Day is Saturday, May 10 from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the Island Beach Parking lot on Arch Street.
The event is free to Town of Greenwich residents, no commercial loads are accepted.

Recycle these at the Transfer Station:
Fluorescent bulbs & CFLs
Motor vehicle batteries and motor oil
Residential alkaline and rechargeable batteries
Safety Precautions:
Wear rubber gloves
Read warning labels
Identify unlabeled containers
Use containers no larger than 5 gallons each
Pack like materials carefully in boxes lined with newspaper or kitty litter
Place containers on a flat surface in vehicle to transport
