A new store, The Real Real, opened on March 5 at 256 Greenwich Ave, the space formerly occupied by Madewell.

As a sustainable company, The Real Real gives new life to pieces by thousands of brands across numerous categories—including women’s and men’s fashion, fine jewelry and watches, art and home—in support of the circular economy.
The Real Real offers free virtual appointments, in-home pickup, drop-off and direct shipping. They do all of the work for consignors, including authenticating, using AI and machine learning to determine optimal pricing, photographing and listing their items, as well as handling shipping and customer service.
With the addition of the Greenwich store, there are now 14 retail locations where customers can sell, meet with experts and receive free valuations.
In addition to Greenwich, locations include Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas, DC, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Newport Beach, Palo Alto and San Francisco.
