Monger Mingle: 3 Purveyor Open House in Cos Cob Hub

Fleishers has officially opened its retail butcher shop and market in Greenwich at 160 East Putnam Ave.

Alongside neighbors Fjord Fishery and Greenwich Cheese Co., Fleishers carries cuts of beef, pork, lamb and chicken, as well as house-made sausages and burger blends, all from animals pasture-raised humanely and sustainably on small, local farms in NY and CT.

The market shelves are stocked with produce and provisions, and the freezer cases are chock full of Fleishers heat-and-serve foods such as meatballs, stocks and sauces. There are also fresh sandwiches, burgers, and rotisserie chicken available fresh and hot from the kitchen counter.

The Greenwich location also has catering service available for pick-up, drop-off and on-site.

To celebrate the opening, The Hub will host a special “Monger Mingle” open house night for the community on Thursday evening, 11/12, from 7 – 9 p.m. Guests will sample fare from Fleishers, Greenwich Cheese Co. and Fjord Fishery, along with complimentary tastings of beer and wine. The event is free and open to the public.

Fleishers shop is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
