Fashion Designer Fred Tutino to Host Fall 2017 Fashion Preview at Carlisle on Greenwich Ave

There will be a fall fashion trunk show presented by Fred Tutino, a talented name in women’s ready-to-wear.

Mr. Tutino is the newly appointed Creative Director of Carlisle Collection. He has previously held creative roles at Elie Tahari, Zara Womenswear, Caractere, Maska, and Roberto Torretta.

Carlisle’s newly launched its Fall 2017 Collection is inspired by classic Beaux Arts architecture and the modern look of Bauhaus, the carefully curated collection features polished and dynamic pieces crafted from luxe Italian laces, buttery leathers, and exquisite embroideries. Mr. Tutino will be on hand for personal style appointments, offering styling advice for fall.  

Carlisle Greenwich showroom is  located at 40 Greenwich Avenue.

Mr. Tutino has more than 20 years’ experience in women’s luxury apparel, most recently serving as the Creative Director for Elie Tahari for four years. In his new role at Carlisle, Mr. Tutino is responsible for all aspects of design, merchandising, and product development. He’ll be guiding the contemporary brand in an exciting new direction—giving it a modern update and incorporating outerwear and accessories such as handbags and footwear. The new Creative Director grew up in South Africa, Canada, and New York. He began his career in New York after graduating from The New School’s Parsons School of Design. Clients have included Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and Sandra Bullock. As the Creative Director for Roberto Torretta, Mr. Tutino created red-carpet dresses for Princess Letizia of Spain, Penelope Cruz, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Salma Hayek.
