Later this month, abc carpet & home, a destination for a unique selection of the high quality home and hospitality products, will open in the space at 181 Greenwich Avenue, longtime home to Brooks Brothers.
The retailer will occupy the 12,500 sq ft space with two stories most recently occupied by Express Edit.

After bankruptcy, abc carpet & home announced in November 2021 that they were under new ownership.
The retailer’s iconic flagship location is in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District at 888 Broadway at 19th St. They also have a Brooklyn outlet with rugs, carpet, furniture, dining and more at special prices at 36th Street.
In Greenwich, interior designers and customers will find a selection of rugs, carpet, furniture, dining and more.

According to the retailer, the company started in the late 19th century as a pushcart business selling carpets and went on to become one of the largest and most diverse rug and home collections in the world.
