Green & Tonic to Expand Menu to Include Wild-Caught Salmon, Organic Chicken & Pasture-Raised Eggs

Green & Tonic (G&T) has announced that the brand will expand to a plant-forward concept, a style of cooking and eating that emphasizes and celebrates, but is not limited to plant-based foods.

The brand will continue to prioritize ingredients derived from plants, while expanding its offerings to include organic chicken, wild-caught salmon and pasture-raised eggs to meet growing consumer demand.

After receiving feedback from customers, G&T issued a customer survey in which the majority of respondents expressed interest in having more flexible dining options that include animal-based proteins alongside plant-based meals.

The brand will add wild-caught salmon, organic chicken, and pasture-raised eggs to accommodate a flexitarian diet.

The new offerings will begin to roll out at all G&T locations by the end of October. G&T will continue to offer the highest quality selection of plant-based offerings, and will not remove any items from its current menu. In addition, the menu will remain 100% gluten-free.

“After listening to the feedback from our customers, it became clear that broadening our offerings would allow us to better serve the diverse dietary preferences of our community,” said Fausto Mieres, CEO of Green & Tonic.

“We remain committed to a plant-based approach. Plants provide essential nutrients, support gut health, and contribute to environmental sustainability. They are the foundation of a healthy diet and a healthy planet. We recognize that nutrition is not one-size-fits-all. By offering clean, organic animal protein options, we’re expanding choices for those who find them beneficial for their unique nutritional needs. For over a decade our mission has been to make healthy eating easy. That mission remains unchanged, and we will keep growing and evolving as a brand to meet the needs of our customers.”

G&T serves delicious, good-for-you food, drinks & baked goods. The menu highlights nutrient-rich items like salads, toasts, grain bowls, cold-pressed juices, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies & acai bowls. Signature offerings include Supr Brew Coffee (organic coffee drinks and lattes) and SWIRL, a dairy-free oat milk soft serve. The brand recently launched The Salad Station at its Darien and New Canaan locations, and all forthcoming stores will include this offering. The Salad Station offers guests the chance to customize their ideal bowl and create a delicious, nutritious, perfectly chopped salad. Salads are available in a convenient on-the-go shaker or bowl. Guests can choose a greens base, toppings, and G&T beloved homemade dressings like creamy lemon tahini, pesto vinaigrette or turmeric citrus. The brand also offers meal boxes at all locations, a customizable way to create 3-5 days worth of meals and snacks, easily packaged and ready to pick up.

G&T was established in 2012 in Darien as a healthy option for those seeking balance and harmony via food, and has now grown to encompass 6 locations across Fairfield & Westchester counties including: Cos Cob, Darien, Westport, New Canaan, Rye Brook, and Chappaqua.

G&T will open its Stamford, Glenville and Old Greenwich locations later this year, bringing its total number of stores to 9.

In addition, Green & Tonic’s sister brand Supr Food Kitchen is opening the area’s first healthy drive-thru in Darien this fall. A first-of-its-kind, the drive thru will disrupt the fast food industry and use quality, fresh ingredients to create nutrient rich meals that are delicious and free of inflammatory seed oils.
