We write to heartily endorse Hector Arzeno’s reelection as the state representative from the 151st district of Greenwich. Rep Arzeno is always available to discuss issues and to help find the best solution for difficult problems.

As a member of the Environment Committee, Rep Arzeno has been on the forefront by supporting bills to restrict pesticides and rodenticides that help to keep your drinking water safe and our wild ecosystems intact, as well as measures to reduce air pollution, which is a critical problem here in Fairfield County.

Rep Arzeno has been a responsive problem solver and was part of the team that worked to draft Bill 5004: The Connecticut Climate Protection Act. He has passed laws to protect horseshoe crabs and shorebirds, create rules for river buffers, and place limits on light pollution, tires and balloons that degrade our environment.

As a member of the Education Committee, Rep Arzeno has been a champion for all Connecticut students. He co-signed critical bills such as School Meals For All, CT Local Food For Schools Incentive Program and CT Grown for CT Kids Grant.

Rep Arzeno will stand up for a bipartisan solution to high energy costs by addressing the actual problem driven by repayment of the 2017 Millstone negotiated bailout and help to reduce customer impact of that repayment.

In this partisan and divisive time, we need more lawmakers like Hector Arzeno, who treat colleagues, on both sides of the aisle, with respect while keeping the ultimate goal front and center: finding real solutions that make Connecticut stronger all the while looking out for the best interests of our town.

We can trust Rep Arzeno to do the work. He shows up, attends every day and votes for the betterment of our community. The citizens of Greenwich are fortunate to have him be their voice at the Capitol.

Signed,
