I have had the honor and privilege to serve alongside State Representatives Meskers, Arzeno and Khanna during my terms on the Representative Town Meeting.
I have lived in Greenwich for 33 years – the majority in Old Greenwich, then Glenville and now North Mianus/Riverside. In all three districts – the 149th, 150th and 151st – I have benefited, as has the whole Town of Greenwich, by their strong and civil voices, their votes and their actions. Their experience both in the private and public sectors speak volumes.
I don’t know their opponents, who, as a former President with a stronghold over the Republican party infamously said, ”Some very fine people on both sides.’
No inferences here, just saying.
Reps. Meskers, Khanna and Arzeno not only deserve my vote, more importantly they earned it by doing right by all residents of Greenwich.
I’ve met and chatted with Nick Simmons, the Democratic candidate, at CT Against Gun Violence events. Simmons’ strong stand on strengthening our gun laws and Pro-Womens’ sovereignty over their own bodies just as men have always had leaves me no doubt and gets my vote as well.
Respectfully,
Monica Prihoda
