A public apology.
Over the past two days, my character has come under attack by the RTC, Greenwich Patriots and others for my sarcastic comments on political hypocrisy.
I was aware this would happen when the RTC sent me one of my social media posts. Now they question why I am on the Central Middle School Building Committee.
However, I have always conducted myself with the utmost seriousness regarding my responsibilities on the committee. My social media post may not have risen to the same level.
I apologize to anyone who many have taken offense to sarcastic comments I have made on social media. It is not in my character to offend people, however I realize my tweets might be taken that way.
