Ned Lamont: Bhargava is a fiscal conservative with a strong business background who defies the Greenwich stereotype

Letter To the Editor submitted by Ned Lamont, Oct 20, 2016

In the musical Hamilton, Aaron Burr sings:

No one else was in the room where it happens.
No one knows how the game is played,
the art of the trade,
how the sausage is made.
We just assume it happens.

Even if you believe that the problem in Hartford is too many Democrats, or too many from the political class, it makes good strategic sense for Greenwich to hedge its bet by sending Dita Bhargava – a fiscal conservative with a strong business background who defies the Greenwich stereotype – to be our first Democratic state representative in over 100 years.

Dita is poised to fight for our town and fight to get our state back on track- from a position of strength; she will be in the room where it happens.
