Margenot: I Am a Long-Term Registered Republican, and I Endorse Cheryl Moss

Letter to the editor from Richard J. Margenot, Cos Cob

I am enthusiastically voting for Cheryl Moss for State Representative in the 151 st District on January 21.

I have worked with Cheryl closely on environmental and public works issues during our time together on the RTM.

She is honest, hard-working, and analytical.

Currently, Cheryl is the extremely capable Chairperson of District 8. In that role, she has consistently demonstrated the leadership required to bring together divergent opinions to create the best possible outcome.

Cheryl Moss’ strengths make her the ideal candidate to tackle the important issues that have plagued Connecticut for many years. She plans on using her formidable skills to address our high taxes, unpaid pension liabilities, deficient infrastructure, and climate preparedness.

If elected, Cheryl will be respectful and courteous to all of her colleagues. She will listen to the concerns of all those she represents. She will not be alarmed by confrontation – or deliberately provoke one for that matter – and will not shirk her responsibility to show up, debate, listen, and vote for the interests of all her constituents.

Cheryl has raised her family in her hometown for a reason, because she loves this town. I too, am a lifelong resident of Greenwich with over 30 years in solo practice as an attorney.

I am a long-term registered Republican, and I unequivocally endorse Cheryl as the best possible representative for the 151st.

Please join me in voting for Cheryl Moss on January 21 for your State Representative.

Sincerely,
Richard J. Margenot
