LETTER: Shoot Someone and They Might Die

Submitted by Don Hermann, Greenwich

Do you disagree? Don’t get a shot in the arm and you might die. Your kids might die and you might be responsible for other people dying. A different weapon.

Over 650,000 Americans have died from Covid-related illnesses. Over 40,000,000 have been diagnosed with the disease.

Currently 98% of those in hospitals in some southern states have not been vaccinated. They’re taking up so much room that people with heart attacks and diabetes and other major medical problems cannot be admitted to those hospitals or forced to wait for hours on stretchers in ambulances waiting for an available bed. In some cases, they’re forced to be taken to other hospitals or put in make-shift facilities.

The news is full of people getting shot with a gun. It’s also full of news of people not getting shot with a vaccine.

Look in the mirror and you can say to the person you see “I followed the laws I wanted to follow. They didn’t tell me what to do.”

If your kid or neighbor or loved one died from exposure to you as a carrier, how would you feel?
Pulling the trigger on a gun would be no different than avoiding the shot in the arm that could protect you from you.
