I am supporting Jill Oberlander for State Senate and I am hoping you will join me.
Jill has served our community for decades. She has a committed “urge to serve.” And she has served us well.
In public forums and personal conversations, Jill doesn’t lead with bluster or ego. Instead, she offers a thoughtful competence informed by what she hears from voters and colleagues.
Her list of accomplishments in leadership roles reflects her dedication and commitment to active service.
Jill is a leader and a learner: deliberative, inquisitive, analytic and strategic.
This holds true for her elected positions in government and also for her current and past service to the community as a board member on key institutions, including Horizons and UJA /JCC and the League of Women Voters.
Greenwich residents have had the advantage of Jill’s leadership as past member and then chair of the Board of Estimate and Taxation, then on the Board of Selectmen and now as a member of the RTM.
Her resume of service to the community is impressive and her accomplishments many. But the main reason I am supporting Jill is because I have tremendous confidence she will work hard, dig into the details and thoughtfully reach across the aisle to make good things happen for Greenwich, Stamford and New Canaan.
Jill doesn’t need to shout to be heard and the joy she radiates is infectious. We need that joy now.
Join me and vote for Jill Oberlander for State Senator on Row A.
Yours truly,
Karen Grinthal, Cos Cob
