Submitted by Jill Oberlander, candidate for State Senate 36th district
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
At a time when many across the country have lost faith in government to be a positive force, I haven’t.
I’ve spent much of my career in law and public service because I believe government can work when we elect people who listen, focus on the facts, and are willing to do the hard work of finding solutions. I don’t believe problems are solved by ideology or partisan fighting — rather it requires working together.
That’s why I’m running for state senate.
The challenges facing our communities are real. Families are struggling with the cost of electricity, healthcare, housing and childcare. Businesses need an environment where they can grow and create jobs. Our schools and infrastructure need investment. And people deserve confidence that their government is working for them.
I firmly believe government can be a powerful force for good — and that’s what true public service is all about. I respectfully ask for your vote to be your next state senator so I can get to work for you.
Jill Oberlander
Candidate for State Senate – 36th District
