Fred Trump III: Rachel Khanna Is Dedicated to Youth in Our District

Submitted by Fred Trump III

I am writing to highlight the extraordinary work that State Representative Rachel Khanna has done to support the youth of our district and to encourage you to vote for her re-election. Over the course of her term, Rachel has consistently prioritized the well-being, education, and future of our younger residents, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to thrive.

Not only has she championed our young people, but she also helped pass legislation to assist people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities like our son William, and so many more, which has lacked adequate funding and services for far too long. Her support allowed CT to expand vital services to these vulnerable individuals, so that their most basic needs are properly met.

One of Rachel’s key achievements has been securing significant investments in public education. She played a central role in bringing over $70 million to fund vital school renovation projects, including the rebuild of Central Middle School in Greenwich and the renovation of Roxbury Elementary School in Stamford.

In addition to infrastructure improvements, Rachel has been a strong advocate for increasing mental health resources in schools. Beyond education, Rachel has supported youth enrichment programs throughout the district, which help bridge gaps in education and provide opportunities for students to grow outside the classroom.

Thanks to Rachel’s leadership, the young people of our district have access to better schools, improved mental health resources, and opportunities that will help them thrive both now and in the future. Her commitment to our youth is one of the many reasons I support her continued representation of the 149th District.
