I have listened to the new members who will join the Republican team on the BET, and recognize the controversy that has hit the town due to misinformation put forth by the Democrats.
Let me be clear, the Budget Guidelines include the full teachers’ contractual salaries and the bus contract. However, at this time, the Guidelines are not going to be released. We believe further consultation with the First Selectman and the Board of Education would be productive as well as input from our new BET members.
As we have always done in the past, Republicans are fully committed to fund a first rate education experience in Greenwich.
