Tooth Be Told…Greenwich Health Dept Visits Boys & Girls Club for Children’s Dental Health Month

In recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Month, the Greenwich Dept of Health’s Dental Health Division recently visited the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich for a special after-school program focused on oral health education.

Public Health Dental Hygienists Amanda Feminelli and Mary Ellen Munro led interactive activities to teach children about proper brushing, healthy snack choices, and the importance of routine dental visits. Each child also received a healthy snack as part of the celebration, apples donated by Stop & Shop of Greenwich.

The Greenwich Department of Health is committed to promoting preventive oral health education throughout the community and helping children build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
