YWCA To Present Panel Discussion: Preventing Sexual Assault on Campus

Understanding and Preventing Sexual Assault on CampusOn February 28, 2019 from 6:30-8:30 pm the YWCA Greenwich is holding a panel discussion, “Understanding and Preventing Sexual Assault on Campus,” an event that is free and open to the public.

YWCA Greenwich welcomes author, Vanessa Grigoriadis to discuss her book, Blurred Lines: Rethinking Sex, Power and Consent on Campus.

Ms. Grigoriadis will be joined by Elizabeth Conklin, the Title IX coordinator at UCONN, Meredith Gold, Director of Domestic Abuse Service at YWCA Greenwich and Reena Ninan, CBS News anchor for a panel discussion.

This event promises to be an interesting look at current gender dynamics on college campuses, laws and procedures for investigating sexual assault and information to prepare young adults going off to college.

This event is relevant for parents, teachers, counselors and students. The event is free and open to the public.
