Join the Team: Volunteer with Greenwich Tax-Aide

You can make a big difference in someone else’s life. Now is the time for anyone interested in volunteering to help low-income and elderly taxpayers prepare their 2023 returns to contact AARP Foundation volunteer trainers.

If you are available during business hours for one or two days per week and enjoy working with people and numbers, this may be the volunteer opportunity you’re looking for.

Beginning in early February and continuing until April 15th, people come to Greenwich Town Hall for help in preparing their tax returns.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax-filing help to those who need it most.

We’re looking for compassionate and friendly individuals to join our team of local volunteers for the upcoming tax season. You’ll receive training and continued support in a welcoming environment. You’ll not only learn new skills, but also get a great feeling from helping others.

We offer free tax preparation help to anyone, with special attention to older and low-income taxpayers. Our volunteers work with taxpayers directly, filling out tax returns and helping them find the deductions and credits they’ve earned.

Experience isn’t necessary — we provide training and IRS certification.

To volunteer, send an email to [email protected] expressing your interest.
