The Greenwich Rotary Club annual holiday party on December 13 at Riverside Yacht Club was a night to remember.
Guests were greeted with a red carpet entrance, complete with photographers capturing the evening’s magic. The festivities were animated by the dynamic DJ Journey, who kept spirits high and the dance floor alive with energy.
The evening was opened by our Master of Ceremonies, Joe Benoit, setting the stage for a night filled with celebration and camaraderie. The Pledge of Allegiance was followed by the 4-Way Test, led by Angela Hyland, and the Invocation delivered by Jay Feinsod. Club President Agathe Likoba welcomed guests with warm greetings, expressing gratitude for everyone’s presence.
The Club was honored to host District Governor Robert Friend, District Governor-Elect Stephanie Phillips, and her spouse, who joined in celebrating the occasion. A highlight of the evening was a heartfelt surprise celebration for beloved long-time member and Past-President, Diane Fox, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the Club and community.
In a moment of pride and camaraderie, the Club inducted its newest member, Commander Peter LeBeau from the American Legion. His dedication to service and leadership aligns perfectly with the Club’s mission. The induction ceremony was conducted by Sally Parris, Diane Fox and Jay Feinsod, marking a new chapter of service for the Club.
A fun-filled raffle was organized and hosted by Sally Parris, Diane Fox, and Marcia Preston, brought excitement to the evening, adding to the festive atmosphere.
