Tour Armstrong Court Community Gardens on Saturday Morning

Greenwich Community Gardens is pleased to host a Garden Tour on Saturday, August 8, 10-11:30 am at the Armstrong Court Community Garden.

The garden plots are in full bloom and present a riot of color, shapes and sizes as individual as each of it gardeners.

They also have a new Greenhouse on view. Free refreshments will be served under our Pergola and check out our brick pizza oven.

Greenwich Community Garden members will be on hand to answer gardening questions and provide information on how to acquire a garden plot (Greenwich residents only) for next season.

This garden location contains 140 4×8 garden plots, pergola sitting area, native gardens, pizza oven and greenhouse. The Community Garden provides individuals, families and groups the opportunity to grow their own organic, local food and have fun in the process while meeting new people and learning from seasoned gardeners of all ages and backgrounds.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Follow the yellow brick road past the playground to the garden. All Greenwich residents interested in Community Gardens are welcome.

Greenwich Community Gardens is a 501c3 non-profit organization providing residents of Greenwich an opportunity to grow their own healthy, organic vegetables, herbs and flowers in two locations, as well as providing Neighbor to Neighbor Food Pantry with hundreds of pounds of fresh local vegetables every year.
