The annual kite festival hosted by the Greenwich Arts Council and Town’s Parks & Recreation Dept is set for Saturday, April 19.
According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be a partly sunny day with a high of 82°. Participants of all ages are encouraged to enjoy the waterfront with their favorite flying machines.
The event runs from 10:00am to 12:00 noon. Since March 31 dogs are no longer allowed in the park, but beach passes are not required until May 1. Bring a beach chair and bring a kite!
