On Friday Santa and the Greenwich Fire Dept arrived at the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s Camp Simmons with some cool relief from the sweltering heat – in the form of a giant fire hose spraying water. Hundreds of children and staff were treated to lollipops followed by the welcome spray of water.
Fridays are also special because they feature celebrity chefs manning the grill for hamburgers and hot dogs. All summer long the campers have enjoyed swimming lessons, games, sports and arts & crafts at Camp Simmons, making memories and lasting friendships.
