Sandy’s Summer Stand is Back, But at a New Location on River Road!

Sandy’s Summer Stand has been a reliable source of fruit and vegetables for decades, operating seasonally, seven days a week at 89 river Road, the former Fjord Fisheries location.

Alas, that property has sold. The old red building has been demolished. The new owners are building Row America Club, and anticipate a lengthy construction process and limited parking.

There is good news for Sandy and her familiar aqua “summer stand.” Sandy has found a new home at 33 River Road.

Sandy tells us she is organizing a forklift to pick up her stand and move it down River Road to the Riverscape Marina.

Sandy will open for the season on Saturday, June 11. Number 33 is clearly marked and Sandy will pepper the neighborhood with her signs. Expect to drive behind the medical building where Dr. Brunetti used to have his office, and proceed under the I-95.

Sandy’s Summer Stand will be open every day from 9:00am until 6:00pm until mid-September.
