On Sunday, Binney Park in Old Greenwich will be the scene for the annual model sailboat regatta. The “measuring in” is at 1:00pm. The skippers meeting is at 1:50pm and the race begins at 2:00pm. The race, a wonderful tradition, is sponsored by the Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center.
Race divisions are:
- Division I: Children age 9 and under
- Division II: Children age 10-18
- Division III: Monohulls up to 17″
- Division IV: Monohulls over 17″
- Division V: Catamarans and Trimarans
- Division VI: Adults Only age 18+
- Division VII: All homemade Boats
- Division VIII: Radio Controlled Sail
- Division IX: Radio Controlled – Motor
