Halloween wasn’t just about the candy this year. Some folks got some exercise at the first Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center’s “Zombie Bike Ride.”

Led by OGRCC bicycling coach Claire Zecher (in the black hood), more than 25 kids and adults met at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center for a 7.5 mile ride through Old Greenwich, around Greenwich Point and back again.

The procession drew curious looks from pedestrians and motorists, but a good time was had by all. The OGRCC cycling program is open to kids of all ages and adult programs will be kicking off soon.

OGRCC is is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote a sense of community by providing recreational, athletic, educational and social programs for our members.
