On Saturday Glenville’s under 10 set headed to the Glenville Volunteer Fire Company’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. About 100 eager children headed to the firehouse with their Easter baskets.
At 10:00am sharp the children scrambled across the lawn to gather eggs filled with candy and prizes.
Additionally, each child was given a ticket that was redeemable inside the firehouse for an additional toy.
Children were grouped according to age, Infant to 3 years old, 4 to 6, and 7 to 10.
“We also had a visit from the Easter Bunny, who arrived on a fire truck, and posed for pictures with all the children,” said GVFC’s John Mastracchio.
