Greenwich Land Trust and the Conservation Commission are hosting an evening with David G. Hawkins, Addressing Climate Change—Insights from a National Leader in Environmental Policy.
This will be an informative evening with Mr. Hawkins, Director at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and a distinguished leader in climate policy.
The talk is on Thursday, May 15 2025; 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the Greenwich Town Hall meeting room.
A resident of Old Greenwich, Mr. Hawkins brings decades of experience shaping U.S. environmental policy. He has worked with Congress, the Executive Branch, and industry leaders to advance solutions for reducing global warming emissions. As an attorney with NRDC and a lecturer at Yale Law School, Mr. Hawkins also served as Assistant Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under President Carter.
Hawkins has served on several advisory boards and committees for leading environmental and policy institutions and is recognized as a national expert on climate change and carbon management.
