The Greenwich Farmers Market will be open on Saturday, July 5.
Greenwich Farmer’s Market manager Judy Waldeyer reports that Saturday will probably see the last of the strawberries. Though strawberry season is winding down, blueberries should be ready in a few weeks.
A new vendor, Bob Cocivi from Cacavalle’s Farm in Newtown, joins the farmer’s market on Saturday.
Woodland Farm should be at the farmer’s market next week, on July 12. The frost
in the spring delayed the ripening of the cherries and peaches.
