Greenwich Dept of Social Services Holiday Aid Program Could Use Your Help

town hall w:blueskyThe Department of Social Services Holiday Aid Program is preparing for some upcoming events and is in need of toy and Angel Tree clothing donations for children participating in the program.

This program provides assistance to eligible Greenwich residents during the holiday season and is made possible solely by donations from the community.

Unwrapped toys are distributed to children age 0-14 about a week before Christmas. There are currently about 525 children on their list to receive toys.

The Angel Tree program provides specific requests of much needed coats, sweaters, sneakers etc. to children 0-17, which are also distributed the week before Christmas.

The Dept of Social Services is seeking assistance from the community to help make the holidays a little brighter for those a little less fortunate.

To contribute or for more information please contact Alison Brush at the Department of Social Services at 203-622-3715.
