The American Legion Post 29 and the Horseneck Daughters of the American Revolution hosted the Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday in Glenville.
According to Wynn McDaniel of the DAR the event was a great success with over 100 people attending.
First Selectman Fred Camillo dedicated the new flagpole and was joined by State Senator Ryan Fazio.
The pancake breakfast is a fundraiser to support youth programs in Greenwich including the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Legion Baseball and Boys/Girl State sponsorships.
The veterans and Horseneck DAR members cooked and served breakfast and mingled with the guests and all had a great time,” McDaniel said.
