Those who found themselves in the Greenwich Commons today– the shady and typically quiet park on Greenwich Ave to the right of the Board of Ed building– were pleasantly surprised by a live jazz performance. The group responsible? Mark Morganelli & The Jazz Forum All-Stars.
This was the first of their performances in the CHASE Jazz! series, sponsored by Chase Bank. The series is presented in association with Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation and supported by the Greenwich Arts Council.

So grab a friend and enjoy a fun picnic set to a soundtrack composed by jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, and Miles Davis.
