First Church and The Hub Offer Free Naloxone (Narcan) Training – Open to the Whole Community

On Tuesday October 24, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, First Congregational Church of Greenwich is partnering with The HUB to bring an in-person 1 hour training on administering Naloxone (Narcan), free to the whole community.

Kaitlin Comet, MA, a Program Coordinator for The HUB, will provide information on opioids that include street drugs (like heroin) and prescription drugs, like Oxycontin.

Opioid overdoses have become an epidemic. In Connecticut, on average, two people die every day from an opioid overdose.

By the end of this training participants will learn how to administer Narcan which can reverse an opioid overdose in just a few minutes.

Open to the whole community. The training will take place at First Church, 108 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich.

Everyone is welcome and those over 18+ will receive a free Naloxone Kit.
