The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library are delighted to invite the community to a dedication of the Book Box Library at Byram Park on Saturday, June 25 at 10:30 am.
The boxes are located at the playground.
The Friends maintain the collections in the boxes: one contains board books for the youngest readers, the other is filled with chapter books.
Children may borrow the books for free, returning when they are finished.
The event will feature Storytime readings for our young friends’ enjoyment, refreshments for everyone, and more!
The new bright blue book-filled boxes honor the memory of Irene D. Martin, (1921-2016) a longtime Treasurer of the Friends of the Byram Shubert Library.
