Christ Church to Host Free Talk with Congressman Jim Himes: “Is the U.S. More or Less Secure in 2026?”

Christ Church announces a free discussion with Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04), Ranking Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence entitled, “Is the U.S. More or Less Secure in 2026?”

The talk is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 6:30 pm at Christ Church Parish Hall.

Join Congressman Jim Himes for a brief survey of America’s current security posture and its equities in the world’s ongoing conflicts.

Himes will address the security situation in the Western Hemisphere, Greenland, the state of the NATO alliance, Russia-Ukraine, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific.

After he concludes his remarks, Rep. Himes will open the floor to questions from the audience.
