At the last Board of Selectmen meeting, Geri Corrigan, Director of Marketing for Saks Fifth Ave got the green light to stage a fashion show right down the middle of Greenwich Ave.
Fashion on the Ave is set for Friday, Sept. 5. Timed to coincide with back to school season, Greenwich Ave will be closed to traffic between Lewis and Elm Streets so that the red carpet can be unfurled.
The street will close to traffic around 4:00pm for set up. Greenwich Ave will be open to the guests at 5:30pm, with the fashion show scheduled to start at 6:00pm.
