Wellness Experts to Enhance Greenwich Historical Society’s Fall Tavern Garden Markets

Greenwich Historical Society’s Tavern Garden Market returns to its Cos Cob campus on alternating Wednesdays in September and October. Inspirational talks by Wellness experts kick off the Markets on timely topics for personal enrichment and wellness.

Following the free Morning Market Talks at 9:30, attendees can browse and shop an abundant selection of locally sourced farm-to-table produce, prepared foods, baked goods, seasonal flowers, and distinctive, one-of-a-kind accessories and crafts. Markets are held rain or shine from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm; September 6 and 20; October 4 and 18.

“We have an exciting line-up of experts for our Morning Market Talks which were extremely popular in
the spring season,” said Dianne Niklaus, Historical Society Director of Marketing and Communications. “The talks are conveniently scheduled at 9:30 in the Permanent Collections Gallery prior to the Market
opening, and some offer on-site consultations after their talk for an individualized wellness experience.”

September 6: Meaningful Connection Experience with Soul Camp Creative Founder
Devoted to creating ideas that change the world, Michelle Garside, who has been featured in Oprah Magazine, Good Morning America and other top media, will present a fun, out-of-the-box activity to help with experiencing deeper connections with ourselves and neighbors, colleagues, and the community at large. A centering meditation will be followed by a deep connection exercise that all will enjoy, from professionals, to stay at home moms and seniors. Michelle is offering individual consultations after her talk for those interested in fast tracking a big idea for their lives. Her “20-Minute Idea Accelerator” strategy sessions are $50 for 20 minutes and can be pre-scheduled.

with Heaven to Earth Astrology
