Town of Greenwich Summer Camp Includes Music & Art Camp, Kamp Kairphree and More

Kamp Kairphree, a day camp for ages 5 – 12 stationed at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center and Greenwich Point. Kamp Kairphree offers four two-week sessions weekdays beginning June 27 from 9:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m. Transportation is provided from various sites around Town. Activities include swimming, boating, arts and crafts, games, sports, and one special event per session.

Greenwich Adventurers is a day camp for youth ages 8 – 15 which is based out of the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center and operates weekdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This camp is divided into two sessions totaling seven weeks. Grouped by age and interests, participants will have one special adventure trip per week, local beach days at Greenwich Point and Island Beach, and on-site activities at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center.

Transportation is included for all adventures. Destinations include Lake Compounce, Quassy Amusement Park, Splashdown Water Park, Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum, and the Rock Club of New Rochelle to name a few.

If you’re interested in art or music, then the Music & Art Camp will appeal to you!

This camp is for children entering grades 4-8, and runs weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon, from July 5 through August 5 at Riverside School. The art section has both morning and afternoon options, but the afternoon art is available ONLY to those enrolled in the morning music section.

Participants in the music section must have a minimum of one year of instrument study. There will be a concert and art show held at the end of camp.

The early bird special rate for Greenwich residents ends May 31! Fees will then increase.

Residents can register on-line at www.greenwichct.org/webtrac or registration forms can be accessed online at www.greenwichct.org on the Parks and Recreation page under “Youth programs.” Forms are also available at the Parks and Recreation Office located in Town Hall.

Beginning June 1, programs will open to non-residents.
