You’re invited to a special gallery event showcasing three local artists.
A Pop Up Gallery and Art Boutique at Greenwich Aquaria at 1064 E. Putnam Ave in Riverside is set for Wednesday December, 12 from 4:00-8:00pm.
Motivated by the desire to bring local artists together with the local community Jessica Reynolds collaborated with artists Jay Wilson of Cos Cob and Amanda Redfern of Bridgeport to create a cool gallery show and shopping experience in a hip and unusual location.
About the artists:
Jessica Pastore Reynolds – Byram Shore Studio
A third generation Greenwich resident, Jessica has been organizing jewelry and art shows around Fairfield County and New England for years. Her colorful abstract fluid art paintings and handmade jewelry are inspired by nature and the sea. Lose yourself in the movement and layers of color reminiscent of aquatic life, corals and currents.
Jay B. Wilson – Jay B. Wilson Photography
Cos Cob fine art photographer, Jay Wilson’s serene landscapes of the greater Greenwich area are available in fine prints as well as large format ready to hang pieces. Experience coastal Connecticut and hip urban scenes of New York City through a new lens.
Amanda Redfern – Redfern Art
Bridgeport artist Amanda Redfern’s unique use of color and texture set the tone for her atmospheric abstract landscape paintings, crafted on canvas and wood panels. Paintings range from 4″ to 4′ and celebrate the sky, the sea, and a sense of wonder with every sunset.
Greenwich resident and Greenwich Aquaria owner Jason Edward is thrilled to showcase the artists at his beautiful venue which is filled wall to wall with aquariums and exotic fish. Come see this unique display and shop his incredible collection as art and aquatics become one!
Enjoy light refreshments and chat with the artists while you peruse art inspired by coastal living in Fairfield County and beyond. Original art, prints and select jewelry will be available for purchase.
