The Central Middle School Theater Arts department is pleased to present The Addams Family on the George Sepe Memorial Stage for two performances this Friday, March 21 at 7:00pm and Saturday, March 22 at 5:00pm.

This year’s production is backed by 75 talented cast and crew members – all from Central Middle School with a handful of orchestra and tech mentors from both the esteemed GPS staff and GHS student body.
The creative team includes CMS teachers Maddy Gale and Danielle Berard as Co-Directors, CMS teacher Rebecca Lipschutz as Music Director, parent Producer Tom Casazzone, Bonnie Hann as Set Designer and Julia Maggiola as choreographer.
Porsche McGovern designed the lights and the cast and crew would not have survived without the supervision of dedicated parents Anne Rockel, Jenni Reynolds and Jessie Bennett, among others.
In the kooky, upside-down world of the Addams Family, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to feel joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of their dreams.
Nonetheless, this quirky family still has to deal with many of the same challenges faced by any other family, and the spookiest nightmare faced by every family creates the focus of the musical: the Addams kids are growing up. In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.
