Greenwich Students from Cho’s Taekwondo Headed to Nationals

A group of Greenwich students from Cho’s Taekwondo are headed to USAT Nationals this July in Austin, Texas.

Dependent upon their training focus, the students will compete against other qualified martial artists from across the country in either Poomsae (forms), Sparring, Board Breaking or a combination of the three Taekwondo events.

The students who range in age from 6 to 15 years old have competed locally and at State qualifiers throughout the Fall-Winter and Spring seasons in order to prepare themselves and guarantee their spots at the National tournament. Additionally, they have enhanced their training by attending seminars at Cho’s Taekwondo and supporting teams’ schools with current National team members, coaches and World medalists.

USA Taekwondo (USAT) is the national governing body of Taekwondo for the United States Olympic Committee.

Cho’s Taekwondo is located at 5 Oak Street in Greenwich.
