The performers ranged from ages seven through 14, with various levels of musical theater experience. Broadway producer Carl Anthony Tramon directed the week-long workshop, one of several that the Greenwich Performing Arts Studio and Actors Technique NY collaborated on this summer. Others included Frozen, Descendants and Jungle Book.

Located at 299 Greenwich Avenue, the Greenwich Performing Arts Studio offers classes and workshops for children, teens and adults. Their offerings include various levels and disciplines, including musical theater, improvisation, and on-camera acting. All of their classes are taught by industry professionals.

Michelle Marceau, founder of the Greenwich Performing Arts Studio, shared that she has worked with Actors Technique NY, owned by Broadway producer and acting coach Todd Etelson, for the past 19 years.

This fall, they have plans to collaborate on a full-length production of Newsies. Rehearsals will take place in Greenwich, but the final performances will be at an off-Broadway theater in New York City.

The Greenwich Performing Arts Studio has been around for 23 years. Many students have gone on to star on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in TV and film.
