Greenwich Historical Society to Reopen, Extend Landmark Suffrage Exhibition

Greenwich Historical Societys landmark exhibition showcasing the role Greenwich women played on the national stage in achieving the passage and ratification of the 19th Amendment will re-open to visitors June 20, after being closed in early March due to the Coronavirus restrictions.

Were so pleased to be able to open our galleries to the public, said Maggie Dimock, Greenwich Historical Society Curator of Exhibitions and Collections. Since the exhibition was unveiled in February, there has been a great deal of interest from the community, with many groups coming through. To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, advanced reservations will be required to visit our museum galleries, and the number of visitors will be limited. Tickets may be reserved on our website, or by calling ahead.
